"This is one of those books that I've read a few times, and is Robin Alexander's best book. Chapter 4 is by far one of the funniest scenes I've read in a book. I'll read that part over and over for laughs and grins. Anyways, I think that Pitifully Ugly is a wonderful lesbian rom-com, that's smart and contemporary. It makes me want to visit New Orleans and hang out with these funny hair salon folks."
